Description
Application of High-voltage Load Switchgear
The high-voltage load switchgear is widely utilized in 10kV secondary substations as a primary switching device for power distribution and transmission. In both civilian facilities and industrial/mining enterprises, the majority of electrical loads can be effectively controlled and distributed through load switchgear.
Key Advantages Compared to Circuit Breaker Cabinets:
- Cost-effectiveness:
- Integration of load switch-fuse combinations (for transformer protection) offers superior economic efficiency compared to traditional circuit breaker cabinets.
- Space Optimization:
- Compact design reduces floor space requirements.
- Simplified Installation & Scalability:
- Streamlined deployment and future expansion with minimal complexity.
This solution aligns with the diverse power demands of end-users, delivering reliable and adaptable performance across applications.
Operating Environmental Conditions
- Ambient Air Temperature:
- Maximum: +40℃
- Minimum: -5℃
- Within any 24-hour period, the average temperature shall not exceed +35℃.
- Installation Altitude:
- Designed for indoor installation.
- Installation altitude at the site shall not exceed 2000 meters above sea level (m.a.s.l.).
- Relative Humidity:
- At maximum temperature (+40℃), relative humidity shall not exceed 50%.
- Higher relative humidity is permissible at lower temperatures (e.g., 90% at+20℃).
- Condensation effects due to temperature fluctuations must be accounted for.
- Installation Inclination:
- The equipment shall be installed with an inclination relative to thevertical plane not exceeding 5%.
- Environmental Stability:
- Installation site must be free from severe vibration or mechanical shock.
- The location shall not expose electrical components to corrosive environments.
- Custom Requirements:
- Special conditions not covered above may be negotiated with the manufacturer.
